CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSISTANT
Responsibilities:
- Provide the highest standard of service excellence to customers in the aquarium in accordance with Aquaria KLCC’s established policies and procedures.
- Conduct public speaking (Commentaries, Guided Tour & Discovery Hunt).
- Manage queue & crowd control.
- Practice Customer Courtesy and Safety as the “NUMBER ONE” priority.
- Ensure all safety rules & regulations are strictly adhered to.
- Ensure cleanliness of every zone and work area.
- Be a role model in the aquarium by maintaining a positive attitude as well as professional appearance and ethics towards all guests, staff and superior at all times.
- Attend daily briefing with the Customer Service Supervisor or Executive.
- Assume other functions and responsibilities assigned from time to time.
- Assist the retail area, including the Food & Beverage (F&B) section, as needed from time to time.
- Ensure all retail areas are properly managed and in compliance with the established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM/STPM/Diploma or Degree that is equivalent.
- Cheerful and energetic.
- Possess positive and outstanding customer service skills.
- Good command of Bahasa Malaysia and English, knowledge of other languages will be an added advantage.
- Pleasant personality and enjoys communicating with people.
- Must be able to work on shifts and on weekends/public holidays.
- Typhoid vaccination is mandatory for all staff working in the retail area.
- Minimum 1-3 years’ work experience in retail, hotel, travel, F&B or customer service industry.
